| Hi everyone, just joined today but this is the first post I have made. I have been lurking impatiently all day on ebay as there was a nice E-Smart up for grabs, I missed it though. Probably would have got it if the mrs wasnt looking over my shoulder and monitoring my expenditure quite so closely Anyways, after searching for another one for sale like a crack addict (I mean the drug!) I have finally given up in a pile of depression.... and opted to bid on a hirobo sceadu nitro instead... Does anyone have any advice? Its extremely likely that I wont take it of course, but at least you'll have the chance to see your work published on this forum... | |

| Thanks for that Fatdaddy, I am probably too impatient for the delivery times and the additional costs of shipping to the uk will probably beef up the price a bit too. No-one seems to have them here - there is another one on ebay uk as we speak but the reserve is unrealistic I feel -£150 which is about $280 give or take for a used, plastic kit with original parts is taking the piddle.
Plus due to the impatience issue I only ever bid in the last second...
Patience is a virtue use it if you can seldom in a woman never in a man

| Well Please keep in mind that I have a full metal ESmart for sale!! It is ARF. Only needs a REC. and Battery!! I'm about to put it back together and fly it myself!!!! I took it apart to ship it to Norway but that deal fell thru...So I figured I'd fly it myself but will still sell it!!! I'll have to figure a new price due to the lack of them... | |

| hey Joe, it certainly was a compliment, you`d be doing the right thing going bigger but after crashing the parts will be more expensive(at least i think they will be) i think, and most people seem to agree, that the best choice for your first heli would be an Esky HoneyBee Fixed Pitch(hbfp). it`s a great trainer heli,i`ve still only got one of these, really durable and fairly easy to set-up which is what you`re gonna need for the first few months. if you`re struggling with anything(r/c heli wise,no woman trouble please!!!) just ask in this forum, the guys are sooo helpful and don`t `diss you `cos you`re new to these things | |

| Yea We're mostly all sorta new here!! Most of have been flyin for less than a year!! I've been into it since last week of Jan. 09!! I think only a small handful have more than one year!!!
AND I would NEVER suggest an ESmart as the first heli!!! Not even as the first CP heli!!!

| That joker is great It would cut the whole of my lawn the first time I decked it so it would save me some time too. It looks like it would get through a few batteries though - only a weekend of George Clooney films could boost Duracells coffers more than this... | |
