To our fallen comrades: So
since we are part of the only
Marine Infantry Battalion
left in Iraq, the one way that we could

we feel.

In UK we have a charity called Help for Heroes, raises money for allsorts of things for our troops and their families. I do not think our government does nearly enough to honour and help them

I was in Florida in May and went to Seaworld in Orlando. Before the start of the Shamu show, there was a tribute paid to the US and UK troops in the middle east, and all active/retired forces personnel in the audience were asked to stand. It was fantastic for them to be recognised, the audience, including me, were fantastic in showing their support. That kind of thing doesn't happen over here

The courage, sacrifice and effort they put in for their countries security and welfare is absolutely outstanding and we should all support them in any way we can.

Thanks for reminding us FD. As much as I love and admire and support our troops, I still have a bad habit of taking them for granted. Thanks.

However I'm NOT telling anyone they MUST do this!!

Trying to keep this at the top of threads! Any chance we could make this a sticky as a reminder for all the guy's and girl's who are aften forgotten in our everyday lives.
