I have a DX6i and love it, as long as you buy a receiver to match the transmitter you can use it for anything

I have a Spekrrum DX6i on the way. Can you just exchange receivers in Helis? Is it just that easy to pop one out and plug in a Spektrum receiver, so that it works with a Spectrum transmitter? :mailboxempty:

It's not just "pop a new receiver in". You need to do some surgery on your 4-in-1 to take out that receiver and install the new one. Nuttcaze, as usual, has a video on how to do it.
