Hi guys,

I'm new to RC heli's and have a few questions. I was given a blade CP RTF but found it to expensive to repair for a beginer so I bought a HBFP and should get it in a few days. Not sure what version is it but here is the link from HeliDirect.com I have 2 3S 11.1v 800mAh batteries and 3 9.6v 650MAh Ni-MH battieries. Will I be able to use both types of batteries I currenty have?

Also been thinking of buying either the DD mod or the belt tail drive and frame. Should I wait on these upgrades until I can get the heli hovering and foward flight. I'm not worried about taking things apart and getting them back in working order either.

Hi,
Yes, you can use these batteries! You can stick with stock tail motor till you can hover :prop:
