so tonight I hovered for a pack without a wreck and generally kept it in a 5x5 area in my garage. I was quick to put it down if it started to 'slide' away. during my best hovers I was only up 1-2 mins so I still have a ways to go.

my question is how to stop the heli from big sways/slides that seem to always happen at some point? once it starts to move a lot in a direction it's hard to counter without going far in the opposite direction. I've been trying to reduce throttle some but end up concentrating on losing loft a lot. should I focus on constant mini stock movements or just a big change if it starts to move. I'm not sure if there is a 'trick' to getting a grasp on how to do this. Also because of this, I just can't seem to put it down straight on a landing which has to be critical to eventually removing the anti-crash kit. My landings usually have some element of sideways sliding in them.

Try this-- if sliding to the left, bump and release to the right, etc. Also it's hard to do, but try and watch the blades. They will give you a clue as to what the bird is going to do before it acually does it. (the heli follows the rotor head) Hope this helps! navy1

hey Eddie,
don`t worry about it because we`ve all been at this stage and through perseverance have overcome it orange74

it`s because at the moment you`re over-exaggerating the stick movements, can`t be helped and it`s perfectly natural orange74

as you progress you`ll be able to anticipate what your heli is gonna do and correct it before it moves the wrong way.........sort of Crazysmile

this may sound a little crazy to you now but if i`m heading for trouble i actually INCREASE power because this also gives my `Bee` a faster response orange71

just give it time friend and it`ll all fall into place :bigthumb:

Aye more power counterintuitive but it really does work
