I'm somewhat new to rc heli's, currently I have a couple of micro's,a 3 channel co-axial, a honey bee f/p (004),and a hbk2 that I have never even powered up. I got hooked on the honey bee f/p and put more money in it than it cost new. I have "EXTREME" metal parts (blade grip, swash plate, fly bar paddle control frame, and metal tail motor mount)I also put a HBK2 battery hanger and skid set and HBK3 fly bar paddles on the bee. She flies really smooth. However, I now get about half the flight time out of the 7.4v/800mah li-po that I used to get. After a few minutes she can only get about a foot off the ground. I would like to switch to my 11.1v/1000mah li-po"s. Can someone recommend a brushless motor and ESC that is not overly expensive and will bolt on with little or no modification required? Will I need to add or change anything else when I go to a brushless set up? Also can you recommend a upgrade set of main blades for the bee? Again there are so many choices and I'm not sure what will work and what won't. Any part #"s and all of your help is appreciated. Thanks. KJ

Hi,
I think honey bee fp upgrade to brushless is not needed. You will need to buy brushless ESC, motor and modify 4in1 (soldering skills is needed). You can use 11.1V 1000mah battery with stock setup. And for blades you can use extreme fiber blades or wooden blades if you don't crash alot
