Hey Nuttcaze. Been following your vids and posts for some time now. AWESOME STUFF DUDE! After watching your fiber frame build vids I decided to try it adding most of the stuff from my HBFP. I had a blast putting it together. Thing is, this thing is a pig!!! I think it's just too heavy. I am using a 370 brushed, Blade CP+ main motor and 7.4 1000 mah lipos. Do you think if I went with an Extreme 380 motor that would make a big enough difference and give me a little more lift and action out of it? I've been through everything as far as set up goes and it all checks out great. I kinda had a feeling during the build that it was getting heavy though..

Hi,
Yes it is a little bit heavier, but honey bee flied great for my friend with 7.2V lipo battery and stock motor. If you want more power better install 11.1V ~1000mah battery. 380X motor likes to fry 4in1 which is expensive Crazysmile

Hey. Thanks for the reply. Forgive me if this seems like a dumb question but, when you say install an 11.1 lipo do you mean just use one? Or maybe with a fuse mod or something?

You can install fuse but it is not mandatory. If you want install ~8A fuse for the stock motor. And buy as many 11.1V batteries as you want :giggle:

I happen to have an 11.1 1000. Too windy outside right now and my girlfriend is still sleeping to fly in the living room. She may be getting up early today though!!!! Thanks for the info. :bigthumb:

Well, tried the 11.1 lipo and it helped for about the first 30 seconds or so and then right back to only being able to get about 1 foot off the ground. What a mistake that Guru Z idea was.
