I've gone through 3 batteries trying to get my blades tracked and it's clear the "bending and praying" method is simply not going to work.

I'm just trying to get it close so I can go hover, I need my hover time ^_^

Somebody someplace mentioned a method using boiling water. I don't have a hair dryer to apply heat (fyi).

I won't be able to get a set of blades for awhile.

ALSO

If I wanted to get blades from my LHS, what type am I looking for with what degree of pitch? I noticed there are numbers on the blades that seem to indicate size.

I use candle. But you have to do it quick and carefully, because you don't want to burn the blade.

try the xtreme carbon fiber reinforced blades. just a few bucks more, haven't had any tracking issues with them and very durable. I did that on day 3 and haven't looked back.

You should get 255mm 8-10 degree pitch blades. And don't worry too much about tracking. Even with a little bit untracked blades honey bee can fly well. And also it might be that blades are screwed too tight or too loose. They shouldn't move when you are caring heli, but they should move when you are shaking it. And make sure both blades are tighten the same :bigthumb:

Are Xtreme fiber reinforced blades the same as the kind sold by Super skids, just with a different name?

A blow dryer will heat the blades to bend them. Take the blades off and lay them on top of each other. Concave to concave. If they fit together they are ok.

No they are NOT. I have both Wood and Fiber reinforced by Xtreme and waiting for Super blades to compare. I can say Xtreme are havier and produce less lift than Stock.

Check out review by Marc.
