Mounting 2100T gyro and AR6200 receiver

I'm planning how to mount the 2100T and the AR6200 on my EXI 500 CF I'm building. I'm thinking of mounting both on the shelf below the tail block. The gyro on top of the shelf and the receiver underneath the shelf, upsidedown.

Is this a bad idea having the gyro and receiver in such close proximity? I know I need to keep the esc away from the receiver to avoid interference. I'm thinking that the low level signals of the gyro and receiver probably wouldn't interfere with eachother.

What do you guys think? How about it FD and Nuttz?

That's good to get confirmation. Thanks! I'm going to start finishing up my build tomorrow nite.

Beachcomber and I have a flying session scheduled for Thurs. morning. He has been trimming out the controls on his new CopterX 450, flying in his carport. I'm anxious to get him out on the soccer field where he will have some more room to relax. I think he is really going to enjoy his new level of control over his HBFP and his big lama.

I'll post a report on our sessions this weekend.
