I posted this picture in another RC forum and was told "Your motor pinion is about to give way. Pretty soon it needs replacement."

Does it really need replacing? (see pic)
I just got this Heli, I have not flown it. I've only spun it up to set the tracking.

Thank You.

I think it's fine. I dont see anything wrong with it, and I find it difficult to believe you would ever wear the pinion out on an HBFP.

Many thanks!

Well, I guess it's good to go then other than the training gear. I've balanced the blades, fixed a striped screw issue, tracked the blades, leveled the paddles, etc etc.

I guess you don't set tracking on the tail rotor?

Again, many thanks

nope, nothing to mess with on the tail rotor.

What color HBFP do you have, I'll make you a signature real quick, any choice on background color or text color?

something like this

Neat, thanks :)

I have the Green one. Maybe put Grasshopper in Green, I'm not sure about the background.

I really like this forum, thanks Nuttcaze.

I've visited a lot of forums, and am a member of 4, but this one is by fat the best of all of them. We've got some great folks on this forum. We really look out for each other and try hard to help each other out. That is , after all, what it's all about.

I want to make a plea to all of you now to try really hard to make it to Fatdaddys Funfly next year. I know it will be impossable for many of you, but those of you that can make it, you will really have a great time. Fatdaddy should have a date nailed down soon, so I hope you all that can will try really hard to attend. It will be great. FD has the perfect place for it.
