Better stay away from a 6 ch for now and learn to fly a single rotor heli by getting yourself a Honey Bee FP V1 or V2.

Last time I checked, the V1 is still available from Hobby 4 Less for about $88.00.

Just my opinion.

By the way

It will be better to learn on a fixed pitch heli, because when you crash, and you will crash many times, it will be much simpler and much less expensive to make the repairs. Then after you get the hang of flying a single rotor heli, take the money you saved on the more expensive repairs and buy yourself the largest CP heli you can afford.

Some folks learn on a CP heli, but my opinion is it's better to learn on an FP heli. And of course that is only my opinion.

Either way, good luck and most of all, have fun with it.

Thanks

Really appreciate the advice , sounds like its a big step up so maybe I'll save the 6 ch for another xmas and get the Honey B v2 . Looked at the video's of this and it looks so much better than the Lama.

I have had a lot of fun with tha Lama but I definately am ready for more.

Thanks again for the info.

Wise choice, my friend.

Trust me, u wont regret it. I got a HBFP V2, today I hited like 6 times doing circuits, and just in the 6th time my main frame broke badly... and the apre part will cost just 6 bucks (plus shipping)! :bigthumb:

A single crash in a CP would cost you like 39 bucks plus shipping...

I agree with DD. You should start with a FP heli, it's durable and cost less than a CP to repair. I'm having a FP Honey Bee V2 alreay upgraded for sale. If you are interested in, you can take a look at HERE. Happy soon Xmas my friend :giggle:

+1 for the HBFP

heres an old video of the second time I tried my old Belt CP, fast forward to the end and you'll see a really quick way to spend $60 and 1 hour of repairing, I crashed my Belt CP alot in the beginning and I already knew how to fly the HBFP but since I had done the majority of my crashing on the HBFP, going to the Belt CP wasn't "AS" expensive as it would have been if I tried to learn with that heli but it still cost alot of money in repairs before we got along.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I have ordered the HBFP . The best of it is my wife says I can have it to play with straight away and she'll get me something else for xmas..

Lucky me I can't wait
