yeah i flipped the switch and i needed to add a ton of trim cause in hovering (tail in) it was coming towards me... it seems when the RPM's change i always got to trim it out....also say like I'm in normal mode and i adjust the the tab to make my pitch higher so it needs less throttle to get off the ground sooner my gyro needs to be trimmed also........

but i was just thinking just now and only thing that makes sense is like im in normal mode and i trim the heli out..then i flip the idle up switch but my trims don't carry over to my idle 1 and 2 they each have there own triming.. trims don' carry over in idle 1 and 2 i guess what im trying to say.....so maybe everything is ok

just a thought.....let me know what u think setting trim in idle up??? 542268

no Brian, something is wrong somewhere. As you fly your heli on normal mode you said your helicopter flies really well right? but as you go idle 1 or 2, you have to trim your elevator? this should'nt happen since the only thing that changed is your rpm and your +- pitch. on normal mode how high is your throttle? give me your throttle curve in normal mode and idle 1 and 2 mode. This way we can figure out whats wrong with it. It could be your main blades if your using the regular blades, they can only sustain certain rpm. as you go idle 1 your trims should not change...

yeah normal good all is good... using align 325 wood blades tracking perfect
pitch curves

normal 0-37-50-77100 idle 1 90-85-80-85-90 idle2 95-90-85-90-95

i just got a pm from fattdaddy and he says he has to trim his heli in each mode cause they don't carry over to other mode each in independent of one onther....
.... you sure something is wrong cause my trimming in normal mode is perfect but when i flip the idle up switch idle 1 and 2 have different trimming set..... so its all out of trim so i gotta re-trim in each mode one buy one and then all is good...im getting so confuzed i dunno who right or maybe i didn't describe it right to u cause i sent to differnt messages to each of you.....don't you do that with your dx7?

BTW -get my t-rex 500 clone tomarrow exi 500 and of course soon as i order evenything the t-rex 600 nitro in blue metal came in stock...

I have a DX6I and my trims carry over as well as the sub trims. I dont understand
why the DX7 wouldnt. That makes no sense to me. But I havnt used one so I dont
know for sure.

I guess it has some reason for doing that. I never new the DX7 did that.
I would hve never noticed because I only fly in idle up mode. I even take off
and land in idle up......Go Figure......

You are learning alot about heli's. Your head swelling???
