OK, I know that Nuttcaze recommends 3000mah 5 cell batteries with 25C rating, but I am a bit tight on funds at the moment.
I do have, from a previous use, a couple of 4000mah 5 cell 15C rated batteries.
Could I use them in my ES600? Will it just mean my flights will be shorter.
Bearing in mind, I will only be hovering, will they be OK?

The only prob might be the 15C rating but if your just hovering it might work just fine.
Also depends on your ESC settings and the throttle curves at which you are hovering at.

Now we're getting technical, Tony. I don't do technical Crazysmile

It's basically just to get the bird off the ground, and do final adjustments. I think I'll try it, when I've got her all together.
Cheers.

I too think you should be ok, but when you're doing the testing, be sure not to drain the battery too much. Thats the only time I make that mistake, I forget how much power it takes to lift off, especially when I'm doing it over and over Crazysmile

Thanks, fellas.

I will test the bird, when it is ready, using those batteries, but the wife has treated me to 2 proper batts, from HK orange5
