trex 700 inverted practice. some tic tocs and lttle autorotations

here's my new baby! this thing has a lot of power. i figured that since i'm flying the exi 450 inverted, why not try fly the trex 700 inverted? so i did, and it's a very stable helicopter. Everyone is right about flying big helis, more stable to control ... enjoy... i just uploaded it . so the quality of the video will get better later on...

finally got round to buying my first CP after nearly 2 years of FP flying flyaway

i`ve got a TREX 250 and DX6i coming in the post orange78

both have been used before and the guy who`s selling them to me has set the 250 up so it`s RTF orange71

gonna be sooo strange for me,don`t know what a CP will fly/respond/control like compared to a FP orange44

Cp's are more sensitive but really fun to fly. Since you're getting oriented with your hbfp, it time for you to move up. Trex 250 is good, but its probably a little smaller, but its a very good cp helicopter as for inverted flying, you will get there. I just practive a lot on my realflight 4.5 and just trying to do it out there. It will come to you as you get the feel of your heli. First do sideway hover on both left and right, then. Nose in ,after that figure 8, then your ready for invert. Cp helis are way fater than the fp heli, so be careful with it and you will have lots of fun flying them. Goodluck

By the way bud, I'm assuming that you already know the stunt mode switch right? This is called 3d mode which means your mid stick throttle is at 0 pitch, and from mid stick all the way up is +pitch, and mid stick all the way down is - pitch, locking your motor at 90 percent speed. So as you take off on normal mode, it will fly almost as the fp but a lot faster, then as you progressed, you can start flying the 3d mode. Good luck bro.

i`ve more or less got all my flying orientation pretty good,side,nose-in,figure 8`s etc so now it`s just a case of applying it to a CP orange44

i saw a vid of a guy just getting his 250 ready to go using a DX6i and i gotta tell you it seemed much more complicated than my simple little `Bee` orange78

it`s that side of a CP that i`m finding a little daunting and one of the reasons i`ve put off buying a CP for so long sad122

just fly normally. it shouldnt be a problem for you. Keep in mind that as you flip the 3d switch, the motor will keep running even if your at throttle down , wha toyu should do , fly it at normal mode, then when your ready, flip the switch, this gives you a pos and neg pitch. By the way, make sure your pitch at stunt mode is linear and your normal mode at 48,49,50,100 and stunt mode at 0 25 50 75 100. this way, as you flip the switch at mid stick, your heli wont move around as you switch the 3d mode, it's going to be a smooth transtition...goodluck... make that vid Bud!

you're a great pilot too. Thanks for the kind wors P3. I just hope i could do better maneuvers and moves, as of now, im barely learning the basic 3d. There's so mani skills and techniques to learn. One day, many years from now, we'll be able to fly like the pros lol... :hahaha:
