hello all, (1st post here)

My hbfp motor is rather noisy and a couple of times locked up for a second during flight. I want to change out the motor plus the tail motor at same time.
I have found that the Xtreme 370 brushed hi-po motor is available for the hbfp. Is it a direct replacement without changing anything else? Is the pinion a 9t? any recomendations would be quite helpful.

thanks

Before you change motors, you might want to check your gear mesh. Improper gear mesh will cause both of the problems you describe.

I have many training hrs on the bird, and the mesh is OK. I get impatient between flight packs and probably not let the motor cool down between runs.
thanks

I say stay with stock motors for the HBFP, some have had probs with upgraded motors in their HBFP.
