EXI 500

Yup Started ordering parts for my EXI500 build today.. Started off with the KDE alu. upgrade package. Its a really sweet set of parts. Gonna go with a Scorp.3024/1400
hobbywing 80Aplat. Hitec 5245mg's and logitec 2100&3100. Also ordered the last stuff for the outrage, just servos hs65hb's..I Love Building helicopters!!!!LOL

Good luck with your builds. The EXI 500 catches my eye too! Is that compatible in the trex 500 as well? Contiplating that or an eraptor for next winter project.

I think I've changed my mind and am going to go with the 6100 combo!! I've read some really great reviews!! Even better than the 2100!!

The EXI 500 is a T-Rex 500 clone so they use the same parts.

Yes!! I believe it is an identical copy.. But maybe the EXI was done first and the TREX is a copy of it!!!LOL I'm very anxious to start!! I've set up my work shop in the basement so I will have a much, much better place to work!!! The wife is also very happy to regain her living room/ When I started hanging stuff on the walls she expressed her displeasure!!! I can't complain, she is really very very supportive of my hobby/obsession. The basement is ok with me being its got the pooltable, fridge with a keg. sink, astroids arcade game, air hocky... So I'm cool with it. All I need is the computer and TV!!!LOL

sweet, I finally put the HDX 500 together today, really cool bird. Can't wait to try it out but first I need to save for a laptop computer.
