I have been without Internet service for almost 2 weeks! orange67

I have my internet through Comcast. At first I thought it was my modem so since best buy had them for twice the price of Amazon, I ordered it rather than giving BB my money. But that meant waiting over the weekend for it to arrive. I got it installed and guess what, it wasn’t the modem. sad122

To keep this story from dragging out any longer, I finally got it working again Thursday. orange75

The best part about not getting on line was I had plenty of time to practice on the sim. I highly recommend turning off the Internet when you want some solid sim time.

I’m still waiting for the new Honey Bee so I can fly the real thing. I hope I don’t crash it as much as I have in the sim.

Yeah sucks big time, I was without internet for 2 months due to moving house, you do not realise how much you rely on it to keep you sane - or away rom the misses!

all i can say is that sim flying and real flying in my experience were as different as chalk and cheese orange49

2 months!! That's asking too much, it must have been a heck of a move.

That's what is keeping me from buying the $200 simulator. I can't see spending that kind of money when the $20 one will give you the same unrealistic result.

I'm sure I'm in for my share of broken parts.

A lot to do with Sky getting the move wrong, not cancelling from the old address and then finding out the new house did not have a line (my fault for not checking first) and once we had moved in then having to wait for BT to put in a new line at an extortionate price!

Did you try HeliSimRc ? It is also free simulator but better than FMS. And if you didn't know hb V2 is released. You can buy it from www.rc711.com or www.miracle-mart.com flyaway

I also have the HelisimRC, I go back and forth between the two.
