About a week or two ago, my back motor wouldn't turn and just the bottom blades were turning. As a point of reference, the time I flew it before, everything was fine with no crashes. The motor was locking up (wouldn't turn when took it off the heli) and needed to be replaced....so I updgraded to the Extreme SE180's (front and back).

Well, last night I put the motors in, but I've got another problem. Now, the bottom bades won't turn (motors are fine though and turn on their own) easily and there is clicking and resistance as the gear wheel turns. Same thing happens with the top rotor blades. I took off the bottom gear but have not been able to pull the bottom gear off (just recalled this second though that it may be connected to another inner shaft that I have to unscrew someplace else). Either way, I'm not sure what to do because the gears/blades aren't turning freely the way they used to before.

What should I do or look at?

Thanks!

will the gears turn with out the motors installed? if so then look at the motor gear teeth count (may be 1 tooth to big and binding up)....

this may be a dumb question but are the front and rear motors installed on the wrong sides?

I have a lama v4 also, neet little heli for inside flying, wish i could fly my hbpf as good
