I am replacing a few bearings on my esky belt cp v2 do I need to oil the bearing before I install them? Thanks guys!

No never oil bearings, bearings get greased not oiled !

I think most bearings are sealed so you shouldn't have to worry about them.

Use a Lithium based grease on things like the thrust bearings on the feathering shafts and the likes. It isn't expensive at all...probably a few dollars at most.
The sealed bearings in theory should have already been packed with grease which is why oil is such a bad idea, it washes away the grease and dries out the bearing.
