Thanks man, you really will love this hobby.
Don't worry about starting on the HBK II, alot of people do and have no problems, If however you find yourself getting frustarted from all the repairs and set-up time look into getting a HBFP, 10x simpler and easier to repair and setup. But if you take it slow and stay low you should be fine, Just make sure you get a Flight Simulator to practice with, that alone will save you hundereds of dollars
I've heard lots of bad things about the CNC ESky stuff on EBay so I'd stick with stock lastic parts for now.
