Hi,
I've purchased a X8D hack module for my Futaba 7CAP.
I'm wondering if I need to buy the Assan RX or if the module will bind to one from another vendor.

Does anyone have any experience with this?
Is this the same for all transmitters?
Thanks,

Matt

I have no experience with 2.4Ghz radio, because I don't have one.

I need to ask, if I get a Belt CP v2 RTF 2.4Ghz and use Futaba or Spektrum Tx, can they bind together? Futaba or Spektrum bind to stock Esky rx, or do I need to change Esky rx with Futaba or Spektrum?

I'm pretty sure it will not. You would be better off to buy the FM Belt CP and replace the Rx with the one that matches whatever 2.4G Tx you decide to use. It will be less expensive that way. No need to pay extra for the 2.4G version Belt CP.

Someone check me on this. Don't want to steer him wrong.
