When I purchased my first HBFP V2 (red) which is also my first 2.4 GHz TX/RX ( I have had 4 other FM Helis- 2 channel toy heli, 4 ch FM Esky Lama V3, Esky HBCP2 and Colco Airwolf 4 ch) on the second day of training (lucky inside closed garage) it lost control went spinning main blades only and crashed under my car. After carefull inspection found a loose electronic part inside RECIEVER which caused the short.
Xheli replaced it with a new Reciever and main blades. This reciever was accidentally shorted by me when I pluged the battery into the main motor connection. Then purchased another Reciever which to my surprise had the same type of loose electronic part inside the Reciever (Heli went crazy on first flight spinning mad and out of control until it crashed into nearby power lines.
After speacking with XHELI Technical Staff they asked for the whole Heli sent back for repair and return. :chickendance: orange72 orange58
Of course I had RMA and cost of Priority Mail-- But have never seen or experienced such a responsible company-- Although suspect someone is trying to sabotage Esky products because both 2.4 GHz Recievers had exactly the same very small loose electronic part inside???? orange78 redface

Mmmm odd you should mention that, mine did exactly the same Monday, in a hover then bang into full on spin and down, only damage was a crack to the blade, I started it up and it was fine, will now check the receiver.....

Right just checked, mine has a loose part, can hear it!!!

Bugger, will be well out of warranty, I shall get an R6004FF and hook it upto my Futaba.

Good spot and v interesting that mine is the same. I'd have to say peeps check your rx's on the 4 channel, might be a weak piece which is easily dislodged?

Purchased mine from Miracle-Mart
