king2 with problems straight out of the box

New king2-zero flights-zero crashes. The problem: the gyro does not want to set itself.The light flashes constantly. Disconnect the battery and reconnect 3 or 4 times and it will set. Once it sets with the throttle stick at zero there is power going to the motor just enough to keep it spinning. Push the stick up 2 or 3 clicks and the power stops.Go a little more and the power is back. At about 30% stick there is another dead spot until about 40% after 40% stick there is power all the way to 100% When the battery is connected there are no "beeps" as the manual states. The throttle trim and stick are set at zero when I connect the battery. I have ordered another ESC for it but I'm not sure that will fix the problem. Any input will be appreciated. Also is the ESC a plug it in and go item or will I need to do some calibrating? It is very unsafe in its current condition.

Gyro only works when tx rudder trim is at center. And stock ESC shouldn't beep. All brushed ESC (motors) doesn't beep. There is a mistake in manual (one from many). And it is very strange problem with throttle. Maybe really ESC is bad. But before buying new one, try to connect tx to computer and use a sim. Then you will make sure that tx is good or bad
