| Hey, I looked at the helisimRC and it looks nice. I've been trying setting it up but just can't get it rigth. I use a 6ch remote. Can some one help me with this? | |

| @Chopper Cop... What remote are you using? And do you already have either a USB cable or audio cable to connect it to your computer? I made the audio cable for my stock E-Sky 6ch 2.4Gz TX, then used two additional programs (SmartPropoPlus and PPJoy) to make the connection between the Tx and HeliSimRC. It took a little but to get it all configured, but it works like a dream now. Check these sites if you need the programs. They are free, too. http://www.smartpropoplus.com/dnn/http://www.geocities.com/deonvdw/PPJoy.htmThe SmartPropoPlus site also gives instructions on how to make an audio cable if you need to. Good Luck! | |

| Thanks Jacky,
I have the USB cable. The problem is how to configure the lot that the chopper responds as it should. (pitch etc)

should. (pitch etc) Are you talking about the 'options', where the simulator is asking for Joystick->Mapping or Joystick->Calibrate, then I believe you will first want to calibrate your controller, getting all the trims and sticks centered (follow the instructions). The mapping could be a bit more tricky, but just watch which way your sliders are moving in relation to you control sticks, and reverse if needed. If it looks like the wrong controls are moving when you move the sticks, then you will probably need to get into the settings (CHOOSE button under MAPPING or maybe Windows Joystick setup) to make sure the right controls are matched to the right inputs or channels. If you are trying to set up a model to emulate your model heli, then good luck. I looked at it once... Once... That is a whole 'nother area of theorycrafting!
