New esky helis

Looks e-sky going to release a new helis:

What do you think about it? It looks that fp will use a new landing gear, new frame, lipo battery, and metal flybar. And cp 2 will use dd tail

OK, I'm confused.

The "new" Honey Bee that you posted is a CP3 but the box they show says Honey Bee 2 and I've seen on retailers websites the Honey Bee IV.

So what's new?

There are three links. The top one is for the regular Honey Bee Fixed Pitch. the middle one is for the 900. the bottom link is for the Honey Bee Collective pitch.

I may be wrong about this as all three are new versions. If you want an HBFP, you are after the one in the top link.

Im not sure when it will be available, but I'm assuming it will be soon.

Am I correct on this P3?

Holy crap, I love the new HBFP, that is just awesome, I will defintiely have one of those when they first come out.

Thank you for the clarification. I got confused when I clicked the CP3 and the picture of the packaging at the bottom of that page showed the Honey Bee 2.

Then the newest version that I should seek out is the Honey Bee 2.

I guess that is why they are all out of stock. I assume once the pipeline is flushed out of the older versions, the new ones will begin to ship.

OK, we know the dates:
Honey bee fp 2 is coming 20th July
Esky 900 is coming 1st August
Honey bee cp 3 is coming 1st September (long wait)

I think even e-sky doesn't know the dates They are working on new helis now, and when they finish them, they will work on e-smart (I think so). I think it will be released in late autumn or early winter (just my guess )

Ok really dumb question mostly because I am too lazy to check my self.

Is that 900 way bigger than a 600? or is it smaller and just a different numbering system?

Smaller. I don't know where they came up with 900. It is about a 500 size I believe.

ESky uses the rotor dia. as their sizing system!! As the E they call a 1000 the 900 will be a 500 class with a rotor Dia. in the 901 to 999 mm..

the description of this HBFP V2 says

".CCPM(collective cyclic pitch mixing)system can ensure the helicopter do various skyways flight perfectly." It also states its a 4 channel. What gives?

Also, if you back out on the TWF site, it says this bird will ship 7.20.2009. Exactly 2 months after i bought my HBFP "V1". Lame.

They copy and paste the same sentence about CCPM for most of their helis The honey bee fp doesn't have CCPM mixing

Esky is realizing tandem helicopter. They say it'll be realized on 20th October. It will use 4g digital servos (pretty cool), and new 3in1 and receiver.


No info about e-smart on their page

it'll be a while before they mention the ES600 on their website, they won't say anything till they get the product line adjusted and have an actual release date, after that we'll see it pop up again
