T-Rex450 RTF Will Not Idle Up

Kinda of odd, but I throw the idle up toggle switch and nothing happens. Have a Futaba PCM1024. Right out of the box it was not quite RTF, but I didn't change any settings except for minor trimming. Don't know what other clues could be helpful to someone to be able to determine my problem. Any thoughts on this problem would be appreciated. Leo

Did you look at the throttle and pitch curves? They may be set the same fir both normal and Idle up!!

Hi: Yes sir I did. They were the same. Just can't figure why the motor didn't jump up a couple of hundred rpm when I hit the switch. Is there is setting for that also? Leo

If the settings are the same for both normal and Idle-up you will not notice anything!!

which futaba you have?
i have the 7cap
what I have to do to enable the idle up switch is the following

press menu
press menu again
go to thr-curve
press up 2 time to idl1=inh, change that to idl1=off(it will say on when you hit the idle switch, dont worry, as long as it is not=inh then its enable_
do same for idl2
now press down once
on top of screen you see a attow and the letter "N"(N)
hit idle switch then it will change to N(1) if it did then you have enable idle switch
now to change setting for idel1 move up and down till you have the "N" blinking and change it to "1" or "2" and change those setting


now for pitch, go back one menu and scroll to pit curve
it is the same deal here, scroll up in that menu and just change the "N" to "1" or "2" for idle 1 or idle 2

if you can, get into vent, it is much easier to voice the instruction then to type it out for me

The TransMX a Futaba T6EXHP came with the Trex450. PROBLEM SOLVED --- Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Turns out it came with IdleUp turned off. Just went into settings and set it to ON and there she spins. As a beginner I can't tell you how great it feels to know people are so helpful in this hobbie. Thanks again, Leo.
