Simulator cable for E-Sky 0406J 6ch 2.4Gz Transmitter Empty
PostSubject: Simulator cable for E-Sky 0406J 6ch 2.4Gz Transmitter   Simulator cable for E-Sky 0406J 6ch 2.4Gz Transmitter I_icon_minitimeSat Aug 08, 2009 2:40 pm

Guys,
I am searching for a USB simulator cable to connect my E-Sky 6ch 2.4Gz Tx to my PC. I have come across various cables for the E-Sky 6ch PPM Tx, but not one for the 2.4Gz spread-spectrum that came with my Belt CP v2.

Does anyone know if there is a specific cable for the 2.4Gz transmitter, or is it the same one as the PPM (both appear to have a DIN-5 or s-video-looking connector)?

If the PPM cable is NOT compatible with the 2.4Gz controller, then does anyone know if there is a compatible Futaba cable?

Any help is appreciated and welcomed!

Regards,
Jackyl71

OK... So I have answered my own question... It appears that the Esky 2.4Gz Tx (0406J / ET6I) uses the standard PPM setting with it's trainer port.

I found this info when looking into SmartPropoPlus. I made an audio interface cable as directed and was able to connect with no problems.

So now I won't be as afraid to spend a few dollars on a PPM USB connector if/shen I decide to move up from free FMS...

Thanks,
