Esky HH gyro (EK2-0704B) in HBFP, sudden tail spin...

I've put a HH gyro in my HBFP. It flies great even with side wind!
The only problem is that from time to time the tail rotor stops and the bird pirouttes to the ground.

The problem seems to be the HH gyro and not the ESC. Removing the HH gyro and using the 4in1 gyro eliminates the spinning.

I've tried different HH gyro gain settings (eg. 27, 65 and 80 % gain all work nicely until...) At the HH gyro "delay" and "limit" settings are both at 50% and the gain of the 4in1 is set to zero. The HH gyro gain settings are adjusted on the DX6i.

Is this a common problem with the EK2-0704B gyro?

I haven't had any problems with my ESky HH gyro but I never tried hooking it up on a HBFP

Where do you put the gyro on the heli?
Is everything else stock (4in1, motor, tail)? How do you connect to the 4in1?
If you don't mind, can you explain in detail for this setup?

To put a HH gyro on a HBFP is time consuming and fairly expensive. Just for the record I don't suggest anyone do this. Rather just buy a nicer CP heli.

Since I've been experimenting w/ the Honey Bee lately, I too considered the HH gyro...
After studying the recent link Mark put on line today related to this issue, there's no way I'm going that far on a $69.00 HBFP..........
Although it would certainly be a great mech learning experince, the time, $$ and post installation frustration dialing that system in on such a light bird seems to have little lasting benifit....other than more hair loss (while I'm pulling it out) learning....
