| Hi all again, can anyone tell me if it is safe to use any 7.4v 2cell lipo battery in my lama V4 and honeybee FP?
I currently use the 7.4v 850mah battery.
One im looking at purchasing is: *Capacity: 1300mAh *Voltage: 2S1P / 2 Cell / 7.4v *Discharge: 20C Constant / 25-30C Burst
What is the difference between 850mah and 1300mah? What does this mean, would this differenc fry my 4in1?
Cheers. | |

| I'm pretty sure you can use any 7.4v lipo. The Mah rating refers to the storage capacity of the battery. In other words a1300 mah battery will give you a longer flight time than an 850 mah battery. Like having a bigger gas tank. If I'm telling him wrong, someone correct me. Donnie D | |

| yep, any 7.4v will work also the same analogy I use for describing mAh, "bigger gas tank" | |

| i think lama v4 comes with a 2 cell lipo 800 mah.
and more mah, specially wit this small helis like lama you should try carefully. more amps means bigger battery, means more weight, means more headspeed to fly, means more heat. and and and. just fore fun i tried two 800 mah on my lama v3 in parallel (makes 1600 mah). it beame much to heavy. it flow, but just with full power. so i think, looking for a bigger battery on such a small heli like lama v4, check as well for the weight.

| awesome guys, its great having you here to help out amatuers like me!
To be safe I got some spare 7.4v 900mah coming, so I will soon see if the extra 100mah makes any difference.
I had an awesome park fly last night with FP, I am so stoked, my legs were shaking, and turned to jelly! Heart was beating fast! I didnt have anyone to film it though, maybe next time though. Im slowly getting the hang of the HBFP!

| congrats on the successful outdoor flight you should make yourself a hatcam, if you use a small digital cam to film, you can just attatch it to the brim of a baseball cap, thats what I do | |

| You are a mind reader! thats exactly what i am doing this very instant! while checking my emails in between.
My digital cam is quite bulky, so im just off to raid the tool cupboard at work to get all the things I need!
It doesnt look to promising for flying this evening, but will post hatcam footage up as soon as I get some.
Do you normally just film it standard, or add a bit of zoom before you press record? At the moment, I keep he heli fairly close by.
CANT WAIT FOR NEXT FLIGHT!!!!!
