Was doing nose in hover at about 3 feet. Tail started spinning. did my first piro. Lucky i was low, kept head level and set her down. Did disconnect and checked 6in1 connections. Reconnected got the bi bi signal, but still no tudder. Tail blades spin fine. HH was off. How do i trouble shoot this 1? orange78

No, nothing happens when i give left or right rudder. Usually when i plug battery in, i get the bi bi signal the 6in1 goes solid the blades stabalize and the tail will stabalize. The blades stabilize but the tail does nothing. Its like no poewer going to servo or servo isn't working at all.

Well if everything else works, I'd suspect that the servo died... E-sky seems to have a habit of using "Junk Parts" that don't last long...

I'm sure if Nuttcaze or someone else sees this thread they will prolly have a place for a good replacement...

Does LED on gyro light up? Is rudder trim at center? If not, center it and then try again :grinn:

If your gyro still lights up you can try to verify that the servo is bad.

If by 6in1 you are talking about the receiver, you can do this:

1. Disconnect two of the motor wires from the esc (for safety)
2. Remove the rudder servo wire from the reciever and swap its position with the elevator servo wire.
3. Now when you give collective, two of the three collective servos should be working and the rudder servo should be moving.
4. When you give give rudder command, the elevator servo should be moving.
5. Swap the servo wires back to their original position.
6. Disconnect the battery and plug your motor wires back into the esc.

This will prove whether it is the servo or not.

Hope this helps, orange74
