PostSubject: Blades   Blades I_icon_minitimeSun Apr 05, 2009 11:59 pm

Just learning on my esky belt cp v2. I have stock main rotor blades 315x32x4.5mm. Would a different blade make the helicopter more stable as I learn or would I even notice a difference? If so what blades with a shaft diameter of 4.5mm? Thanks guys!

try looking for some align 315mm, you could also try the 325mm's, the extra 10mm won't make it much more stable, but having good blades makes all the difference in the world

you can use the align blades on either the V1 or V2 Belt CP, the blades are thinner so you will need to use a spacer with them though

I use blades from these guys
http://www.jcshobbies.com/products.html
If you want blades that will take a beating and will last forever then they are the ones to have. All of mine have been spot on as far as weight and balencing is concerned and will definatly be buying them again. The set on my Esky have taken an insane beating and are still fine. All I have to do is ocasionallt clean them up with needle file to take off the rough edges they get smacking the walls in my basement. Really got to stop doing that lol

yep, work fine, no improvement in how it flew that I saw though, the head design of the Belt CP has too much play to really notice any improvements.
