Congrats on your new heli. I just recently finished building my all metal E-Smart and I absolutely love it, and so will you. I don't know if they are going to continue to build it or not. I understand that they are gonna resume production later this year. I sure hope so It is too great a heli to not continue with production.

As far a as parts go, it would be a good idea to get a few parts anyway. So far I have 3 stock main gears and one of the new delrin main gears that Micro Heli just started making. I plan to buy a couple of main shafts and some feathering shafts from them as soon as they are ready.

Any way, I think you are gonna love your E-Smart, and good luck with the build. Please feel free to ask any questions you have and we will answer them as best we can.

Have fun,

Donnie D smiley-happy088

PostSubject: Tools acc   ES600 I_icon_minitimeThu Jul 02, 2009 10:29 pm

I am going to need a swash plate. I can level the swash plate but there is a certain height that needs to be set. do you have a swahplate tool and if so can you tell how tall it is.

I all have the EXI500 from heli direct and I'm just waiting for my hs5245 servos to get here by Tuesday or so I can try it out.

ES600 I think paddle bars, rotor shaft, Links, Delron gear, Tail boom can be tubing and just cut it to size.

which servos are you running in your ES 600. I seen that Mark ran fut 3001 servos.

Nutts runs Hitec 422's on his E all 4. I use the DS821, I think,, They came with the DX7 I use all 4 on that too. I finnished my EXI 500 a couple weeks ago and man I really love it as much as the ESmart!!! It is sooo smooth!!! I upgraded a bunch of parts and used good servos(same as you mention I think) and it really flys nice!!! Well my flying that is!!! More of a moving hoover!!! Anyway I REALLY like it too!!!

On nuttcaze video he install the 3001 I like the HS422 but I wish they metal gears for them. check out the torque 43.4 oz that is real good. So that is what I look for in a servo is the torque and speed.

HS 5245 run real good has they should for the price. I had a hard time trying to the right servos for the EXI500.

Also some guy has one but he told me to send it back. he said the screws are coming out. He should have lock-tie them.

SPECS:
Length: 41mm (1.6")
Weight: 45.5g (1.605 oz.)
Width: 20mm (0.8")
Torque: 3.1 kg-cm (43.4 oz-in)
Height: 36.5mm (1.4")
Speed: 0.20 sec/60 deg.

PostSubject: Hybrid Heli Help   ES600 I_icon_minitimeThu Jul 02, 2009 11:33 pm

Hello People

I am trying to create a Hybrid HELI what I like to do is get everyone to suggest the best parts or what they feel is top of the line parts to make a 500 Heli. From frame to tail boom and beyond.

What's the best machine part and just start building modify tweak it. There are a lot of clones out there. this part fits that part and so on, so I know with what everyone has we can get together and try to build a KICK censored Heli.

I installed from a EXI 450 the gear that run the belt from up front to the tail rotor. it is metal and not the plastic junk on the blue ray. and put it on my BlueRay 450 and now I can cut the grass with.

First start with the Carbon Fiber EXI kit. Toss out the tail boom and replace it with the Align T. Tube Assy. for 80.00. Then Add the KDE CNC metal parts kit, which includes two thrusted main bearing blocks!! Add the Scorpian 1600 rpm/kv. Hobbywing Platinum
80A ESC,3 Hitec HS5245MG and a logitec 2100T and an Ino-labs something tail pitch servo. Also, upgrade the head with the Align CNC washout arm assy. Up top swing a pair of Mavrikk CF G5 PRO wide cord's!! Power it with an Outrage 6S/3000. Under, Add a ESmart landing gear set for some added stability.......Then go rip the sky!!!

So I was working on the EXI 500 tail rotor trying to get the slop out of it. just a little slop and broke the 1mm screw, and you can't purchase the part that holds the rotor blades I had to but rotor blade assemble for $30.00. can't find a drill bit small enough.

I like the dam thing and I have a scorpion 1600 Kv hs5245 servos cf blades 60amp volcano esc, BEC. So I am check out the blades you had mention. Oh yeah megapower 6s 2500mAh $81.00.
