Another good day of flying for both Beachcomber and I
Beachcomber continues to polish his skills and gain confidence.
I flew a couple of packs on one of the 450s to warm up and then on the third pack, nervous as a school girl, I pulled the trigger on a back flip! It wasn't pretty and was closer to a back loop but, I pulled it off! Shaking like I had parkinsons I managed to bring it back to the pad and land. The manuver was a mess but it didn't include a crash.
After the shaking subsided I took to the air again and pulled the trigger on another back flip. Not quite as much of a mess as the first one and I wasn't shaking quite so bad.
I'm sure I will be trying to clean up the flip manuver tomorrow, hopefully without any crashes.
Footnote: The sim flip doesn't really prepare you for the real thing that much.
All in all a really good day!
