Can't decide to go nitro or electric O?S and Super Tiger both have good gas engines but can anyone tell me what size brushless electric I need? Flying weight 5 pounds with 63 inch wing span.
hard fourteen, This would be my pick for that size plane. http://www.nitroplanes.com/mo604brmo.html I think you should give nitro a try, Also if ya do I would go with the OS engine SuperTigers are good engines but they need lots more care on brake than the OS would. sdjb
Decided on Nitro. Actually I bought an OS 46 but the guy reneged. In the meantime I bought a 12V starter...so Anyway I now have a trainer, a six channel radio, and ...an electric starter. The rest waits while I accumulate $$$ but I am leaning toward and OS engine... (but that may change by the time the $ arrive. Rec. are for .40 to .46 but I may go higher if a bargain comes along...I might not be able to buy right now, but I can sure shop!
you still need glow starter plug, field tote, fuel pump of some sort, glow plugs(they burn fast) towel, cleaner to was off nitro off plane after day and the list go on :(

Found an OS46 used for a good price now to accumulate the rest. Any hints on "key words" hunting for nitro stuff?
