I am new at rc helicopters. First bought eagle 50. Lasted 30 seconds. Repaired the heli took it lhs and they had a hard time flying it. I now have a esky belt cp v2 and still learning. I did crash it. Waiting for parts(feathering shaft). With the belt cp I was able to have some flying time and found it lot easier to learn on. I been using ClearView sim. and feel more confident. Once I get better, or not, at hovering and flying I would never buy or fly an eagle 50. To unstable to have fun on. I might take the eagle out to fly just one more time so I can crash it by choice. There's my thoughts nothing positive for the 50.

it might not be so bad if you change the servo arms and links so that you can move the links in a hole or 2, thatd tame it down a bit for sure, I'll look into and post info later :whacky007:

My eagle 50 came in this morn. After 3 flights and three crashes it is now broke. Ordered 46 dollars worth of parts and of course no one has a tail boom or upgrade accessories in stock. You were right craz, very un predictable heli to fly. Talked to my local hobby shop and he recommended the e sky belt cp. Is this a good heli? My recommendation to anyone is to not buy the exceed eagle 50. very difficult to fly.

nice flight man good attempt at a loop with the gutless wounder lol
I bought the Walkera #22E / Exceed Eagle 50 recently and immediately modified it for a main brushless motor. It works great. I have no twitchy problems on the tail. Here is a video of the first flight on this heli. Very easy to fly.
For anyone having problems modifying for brushless goto: http://www.rtf-heli.com/Walkera22e.html. The brushless motor stays cool to the touch after flying and as a result you can fly all day by swapping the LIPO battery IN/OUT.
