Two weeks ago I went flying with a guy who lives nearby that I found on rcgroups. After seeing how my esky gyro from my Belt CP V2 drifted all over the place, he offered to sell me a GY 401 for $50.
If you are running an esky gyro, do yourself (and you flying) a favor and get something that will hold the tail.
The 401 is excellent. Even with a tower pro 9g servo.
One question. In HH, it's rock solid. When the servo arm is at 90 deg, the tail pitch slider is centered. In rate mode, it drifts. Is it worth losing the travel to set it up in rate, if I'm planning on only flying in HH?
