Subject: Exceed 30a ESC and Alpha 400 Brushless Motor Tue Oct 06, 2009 6:35 pm
Is anyone running the Exceed 30a ESC and Alpha 400 Brushless Motor from Xheli? I need a new motor and esc to replace the belt cp motor/esc that's currently on my EXI450.
Is this a good choice?
On a related topic, what should my target head speed be?

ive used that before, it's ok . but it tends to get hot. Its good but not that good. IMO I would go for the 40 amp at hobbypartz for 22 bucks. This will leave your esc and battery nice and cool. Motor works really great and have good power.
