Well that frame mod is so easy and made such a difference in the heli, That
I would say it is a great thing to do.

Moding the frame for better battery holders is one that I have worked on also.
Including a bigger area for RX and ESC since they shouldnt be so close...

Here is what I have. The old aluminium stock for battery mount wich worked great.









Here is the newest way I am using. It uses the stock RX tray on the bottom and
a stock bottom tray mounted on top...






this is for the top..The cuts that had to be made...
