Hello Everyone
I have an E-Smart with a futaba GY401 Gyro. Occassionally it gets a small tail wag (3"-4"). Does anyone know how to stop this? I have set the Gyro according to the instructions. Delay on 0 because I have a S9254 Digital Servo and Limit set as to just of the low position (80)

any help greatly appreciated!

cheers
Dazza

Hey Bud, I think you have the lock to tight!! Try reducing your gain!! Start with 2-3 numbers at a time till it stops.. That should fix you up..!! Good luck!

Hi
Hmm not sure what that is!..I only have two adjustments on the gyro, they are 'delay' and 'limit'..the instructions say if I am using a digital tail servo set the delay to zero and adjust the 'limit' to regulate the end-point of your linkage..

Do any of these adjust the gain?

regards

I'm not sure of the terms used for the 401... can you adjust the hold of with your Tx.??

It appears not!...the TX is a Futaba T7C. I have scrolled through and couldn't find any reference to 'hold'...maybe its called something else. I will have to check out the manual.

YES for sure!! If you are using that TX. then I think for sure it will have a gain adjustment thru it..!! That is what you need to find then like I said reduce it by 2-3 numbers at a time..!!

I get the same small wag from time to time but for myself its usually when I run 6S's rather then 5S's. But in your Tx there should be a gain the you can adjust for the gyro, turn it down or up in small increments till it holds better. Thats the only advice I can give you at the moment orange78

Turn on tx and then hold mode/page button for more than one second. Then go to A1 menu and there select gyro. On UP reduce % a little bit. And select mode: GY.
