mode 2 is that your throttle is the left stick
and mode 1 is throttle on the right

Throttle is in different side. Look here:
Mode 1:
SPEKTRUM DX6I Rc-transmitter-mode-1
Mode 2
SPEKTRUM DX6I Rc-transmitter-mode-2
P.S. Most people with helis fly with mode 2
