Hoi friends, how can i change the tail-driven belt-tension the easyest way. Is it on the tailrotor side or on the frontside of the tailboom?
Thanks in advance. orange78

Hey, Should be the front of the boom. The tail box should always be forward
untill it wont go anymore.

Some people have had to cut a little of the boom to loosen it up a little bit.

There is 3 screws that lock the boom down in the front. Using a ball allen wrench
you can get to the bottom srew with no problems.

Again we have a case of two pilots, two ways of doin it!!! Mostly I also adj. at ther front!! However I needed to tighten my belt last night and had the issue Sur. decribed needing to cut more slot in the boom. Not wanting to take it apart, and knowing I'd be taking it apart soon I opted to adj. from the tail box and it works just fine.. So I think either way is ok!! BUT if time is not a factor and you don't need to slot the boom doin it from the front is the best way!!!

I also think the best way is from the front but collecting some information from specialists is always interesting. Thanks, and i think the tension from my belt is too high. orange78
