whats the biggest battery used

Hey guys new to the site have found a ton of info on here.I just got my hbfp about a month ago and of course it came with the 7.4 800mah batt.I was wondering what was the biggest battery being used in this heli buy the people on this site.Thanks for any info.

I have a hb f/p and am waiting for a new motor (extreme 380) to arrive. should be here today. When I have it installed I plan to use a 11.1v / 1000mah li-po. I've been told that it will work with no problems. I'm more concerned with 4in1 problems. Anyway, I will let you know how it works out. KJ

I've been flying the HBFP V1 with a 3S 11.1V 1500mAh battery. My HBFP had Superskids, which allows easy mounting of larger batteries. Now problems at all and great flight times! I never had to land because of an empty lipo, but because of lack of concentration after flying for 12 minutes

Yep, on the stock motor (with in line fuse of course, never burned the 4in1). Also used the Xtreme 380 motor with it, that gave it some serious power (turned the throttle curve down to 85%). But the Xtreme motor had the bad habit of blowing fuses mid air
If you give it to much throttle at once, or the gears are a bit worn, the resistance on the Xtreme motor causes it drain to much Amps.

So your running a programable tx on a hbfp?

Also are you running stock blades?

Yep, I was using my Dx6i with a AR6100i receiver in the HBFP.

The blades were the fiber reinforced Xtreme blades. Nice blades, I crashed the &^%& out of them, never broke.

It is a 15C 11.1V 1500mAh Mystery Lipo. I bought it from Dealextreme.
See here, you need to solder JST plug on it yourself.

I ordered a second one from Dealextreme, but was dead on arrival. The voltage per cell was so low, that my AC6 Thunder charger refuses to load this battery.
I filled a DOA-complained at Dealextreme about a month ago, haven't heard from them since.

Other than that I only have nice experiences with Dealextreme (except for the long waiting time).

Hey Mozzy did you notice a big increase in power when you switched to bigger battery with stock moter or just longer flight times?and also what size fuse are you using?

Try to use the Esky charger (stock charger). Sometimes it work to bring the dead battery alive.

he's right that happened to me and i did what he said

if its too low to charge use the stock esky charger to get the volts up then u can your your other good charger

when u go from 7.4 to 11.1v on the hbfp v1 the power difference is huge

The title is kind of general. So I want to ask, what is the biggest battery (in mAH) that can fit in BCP v2?

I have a Mystery 2400 mAh that I use for mine. Based on this battery, I would say you could go a bit larger, but be aware that not all 2400 mAh batts are the same weight or size. Be sure to check the weight and diminsions before you buy.

By the way, I have a Belt CP V1, and the battery slides into the battery compartment. That is why the diminsions are so important for me. I'm not familar with the battery holder for the V2. May have more flexability there.

V2 uses the same battery compartment . I am using 2650mah battery with my belt cp V2, but it is a little bit too big. I think max size is 2500mah

For my Honey Bee FP I use a Robbe 950 mAh. It will fly for about 15 minutes. The lipo is not cheap. 35 euro's for one lipo. But they are the best to buy.

For my other heli I use Robbe 4000 mAh lipo. This will keep my Spirit Li in the air for about 15 to 20 minutes. Not cheap either, 160 euro's for one lipo.
