Hey guys, please don't laugh but what is the gyro switch, on the beltcpv2 tx, for? orange78

Since my first out of the box flight resulted in new blades and feathering shaft; I am a little tentative with this machine. noob

I have read the manual from cover to cover three times and the only thing they mention about it is to make sure it is in the up position when you power up. Is th eup position "head lock" and if so, what is the other position? I am too scared to just flip the switch mid flight; to find out what it does.

Thanks J.

It switches between rate and headlock mode. On 0 (headlock mode) the tail should be in the same place where you put it. On 1 (rate mode) you'll need to control tail a little bit. When you are learning to hover better be on headlock mode. You will not need to control tail (less crashes). But when you can hover pretty good then try rate mode so you can fell comfortable controlling tail smiley-happy088

Thanks P3tras, orange74

Makes perfect sense. Dont understand why they wouldnt put that kind of info in the manual. Does the gyro gain knob work on both settings? orange78
