Question on 3100G logitec servo

I'm new in this hobby. And I'm gonna build a 450 heli. I just bought the combo of Logitec 2100T gyro and 3100G servo from helidirect.com, and I'm not sure whether I can use it as a tail servo cuz I see its size is smaller than the S9257 (Futaba). Also, I have a question with the gyro. Will it work well with Spektrum TX&RX? If anyone has experience on these things, plz let me know. Thanx

as far as i know, you have a pretty good gyro and tail servo. They come with the combo, and yes that's what you have to use ffor your tail servo. For more info, ask fatdaddy in this forun, i know he uses a lot of logitechs.

The 2100T/3100G combination of gyro/servo is what I have been flying for the last few months. The 3100G works great with a 450 sized heli. I'm in the process of building a EXI 500 CF and I'm going to be using the 2100T in combination with a 9257 sized servo. The 3100G would be too small for the quite a bit larger 500 size heli but, works fine on the 450 size. The 2100T/3100G combination is a big step up from the 0704B Esky gyro I was trying to use on the 450s.

I am using a DX6i/AR6100e combination with the Logitech gyro/servo and it works just fine. You can adjust the gain on the gyro through the DX6i and also switch between rate and headhold mode using the DX6i.

You have chosen a great combination!

Hey Bud, I use this gryo only!! I use the 3100 on everything up to 450.. I believe that in some cases it would be ok on a 500 but you would need to be only sport flying .. Anyway only up to 450!!
From 500 and up I use the 2100T and the Ino-lab 261hb and that combo rocks too!!!! I even use the I-L on my "E" even it is small it smokes on the "E".. IMO you have the BEST combo you can get for less than 200 and even 200 and up it rivals most all!!!! It has been said it is as good or better that the 401 and nearly as good as the 611!!!! You made an outstanding pick.. If you need help setting it up, let me know there is a VERY good set of 3 vid.s and they make it very easy otherwise it can be haed to do!@!!!
