| Key Features - Extreme 3D capability right out of the box - 95% factory-assembled - Direct-to-Swash CCPM linkages - Stacked Aluminum frames - Aluminum and Composite swash plate - Tail servo boom mount - Stainless Steel tail rotor hub - 325mm Pro Symmetrical Wooden main blades - Belt-driven tail rotor - Auto-rotation system - Gun-Metal gray aluminum head block - Gun-Metal gray aluminum skids and tail boom Specs - Main Rotor Diameter: 27.6 in (700mm) - Tail Rotor Diameter: 5.9 in (150mm) - Gross Weight: 22.4 oz (620.8 g) - Length: 25.6 in (650mm) - Kit/ARF Some Pictures Heres a pic of the feathering shaft. Just like the New T-rex 450SE V2Notice the servos are mounted inside the frame, this gives the straightest shot for the servo linkages The servo on the left is mounted on the outside of the frame, see how the linkage is not straight, where as the servo on the right is mounted from the inside of the frame and the linkage is straight up and down Here you can see where those little plastic bolts/nuts go when mounting the servos Finished Project With a new CNC See-saw With the Little Brother

| I just saw the new E_Sky Belt CP V2 today, thats a really sweet heli, I really liked the Belt CP V1 but the V2 is much better. Then when you crash it, get an EXI kit to swap all the parts over to. | |

| Subject: Taking the head off of the main shaft Sat May 23, 2009 10:40 am | |
| I'm trying to get the head off of the mainshaft so that I can use my swash leveling fixture on my Squadron. I disconnected the 4 links to the swashplate and removed what I think is termed the jesus bolt, the bolt that holds the head on the main shaft. That bugger (head assembly) is still holding on to the mainshaft for dear life. I already used the swash leveling fixture this morning on my EXI 3995. The head came off of the 3995 bird as I expected. Am I missing something on the Squadron? Maybe they got some threadlocker on the mainshaft/head assembly during assembly? I'm going to try and pull the head off of the spare Squadron that I have and see If that one comes off as I expect it should. Any pointers would be appreciated! Curt | |

| Subject: Same problem on the spare Squadron? Sat May 23, 2009 10:54 am | |
| I'm puzzled now, I figured that the head would come off of the other heli like I expected. Same situation, please let me know if you have any ideas. There are a couple of relief cuts in the base of the head where the jesus bolt goes and I tried to pry those open slightly to see if it would free up the head from the mainshaft, no luck. Ideas? Curt (The past few days it's been raining here and I'm doing all of the mechanics on the birds while waiting for a break in the rain to get some flight time in. I'm itching to get in the air. More Clearview time I guess.) | |

| Thats weird, with all the ones I've messed with (6) I've never had a problem like you're describing Did you try taking the whole shaft out and take everything off (swashplate, washout assembly, etc) off from the bottom, then with just the head and the main shaft you can get a better idea of whats going on. | |

| Subject: I''ll try that Sat May 23, 2009 1:40 pm | |
| When the air isn't so blue from frustration I'll give that disassembly a try. I decided I had better put it aside and give myself some time to think about it and calm down. Thanks for the advise, I'll let you know how it goes. My main shafts are black, anodized maybe, I don't think that should make any difference. Slightly Confused in Savannah, Curt | |

| Subject: Was able to remove head Sat May 23, 2009 10:48 pm | |
| Mark, Thanks for the suggestion of disassembly main shaft/head assy from the bottom up. Once I got the shaft out of the heli I was able to get the shaft out of the head assy. using a padded pliers on the shaft. It was a really tight fit! I cleaned up the shaft and sanded and polished it down and now the head fits as I expect it should. Used my new swash leveling fixture, didn't have to change too much to get it level. Test flew it briefly tonite in the family room and it flew well. I still think I have some tail control issues with the heli. I'll have to go through the tail/gyro setup again. Thanks again for all of your help! Curt | |

| yeah, but I would recommend getting a new motor and ESC, the ESky 3800 doesn't have much power and the 25A ESC is crap | |

| Frustrated with the cheap plastic parts on the belt cpv2 head and ready to switch parts over. There are a few different versions of the exi and similiar models. Can anyone comment on the exi 450 Pro version? or another barebones kit that has carbon fiber frame and metal head? Is it worth the money to start with this and switch my belt cpv2 parts over and continue to upgrade as needed?
This will be the first project before I step up to the 500 or 600 class.
Thanks Jeff | |

Thanks Jeff I have built both the Squadron edition and the $39.95 versions. I have upgraded both with metal heads and tails, so I have ended up with a version similar to what you are looking at. I'm not sure which model I would choose if I purchased another one. It would have the cnc head and tail. I have been looking at the different models and I can't figure out how the servos are mounted on some of the frames. I noticed that some of the tails are driven off a belt just under the main gear instead of the SE vsn 2 method. Sorry I cant be of more help. I think the EXI products are good value for the money and would buy one again. Not sure which I would choose. I would get one with hex drive hardware instead of philips head hardware. Good Luck in your choice!

| It is almost the same size as belt cp. Belt cp uses 315mm main blades. And EXI uses 325mm blades | |

-Bryan That's one nice looking heli! That's one of the versions I couldn't figure out how the components mount. Looks like the motor mounts from the top and I'm not sure how the collective servos mount. I think you made a great choice and am anxious to hear your impressions when you have had it in you hands.

| Yes if you buy new ESC/motor that can handle 4cells batt you can use it. But I don't see many pros of doing that. | |
