Hello, I purchased two Belt CP Heli's for Christmas. They both got destroyed. I have now purchased a "PRE-flight" simulator but I have no idea exactly where the settings should be on the 6-channel or what most of them even do. Both instructions fall way short of instructions. Do you show the controller settings on any of your videos?
Thanks, ZekeSr

Thanks, Nutcaze, for posting that set up guide on the King. That is gonna help me a lot with my Belt. A lot easier to follow than the other guide. :smiley-happy03 :worthy:
no problem, in the video section I just put a post with mutiple set up vids for CP's, might be something to check out when you get time

Very nice TUTs, gr8 job.
when you spin up for adjust the blade tracking, till which position to move the throttle stick? On my belt, till middle position in normal mode it looks good. On ¾ its out. When the stick in normal mode, is in center position, how much pitch it should have? Thx

You can use 40A ESC. But brushless ESC cant be installed on the king 2 with stock motor, because it is brushed motor. And if you bought belt cp v2 you don't really need to upgrade ESC, because stock ESC is pretty good

In the first flight it will definitely not go on fire. I am flying my belt cp v2 about 3 months now without any problems. The v2 uses better ESC than belt cp v1

It should have zero pitch at or close mid stick in normal mode too

you can use then but a 40A is a little big for the HBK II. 30A ESC's would be better for those helis.

I always had a problem finding a good spot to mount the ESC on the HBK II. But as far as ESC's for the Belt CP, you'd be better off with a 30A for that heli too. You could use the 40A on the Belt CP if you wanted, but you really wouldn't want to use one on the HBK II.
80% of HBK II and Belt CP owners use 30A ESC's

hmmm can you help me out then? i use the stock brushless motor on belt cp v2 and a 3100 or 3900 motor on the HBK II

what company are you trying to order from? They don't sell 30A ESC's? Maybe we can find you another shop. If not I'd get the 40A Hobbywing for the Belt CP and the 25A Hobbywing for the HBK II

Hi marc, i just got my belt cp v2 from xheli do i need to set up something i have read the instruction manual but i dont know if i have to do something else, this is my very first 6channel helicopter
thanks for your advise, in fact it is 2.4 i have checked many things like blades and it seem to be ok but i still afrid of crashing it i have coax heli and i can fly it well but this one is too big (for me) i think i will start with "real flight"
Like I said, spool it up first strapped down to something. You can sort of get a feel for the sticks, and check for obvious problems that way.
Then make yourself a training gear out of dowel rods and ping pong balls and just go real slow. Just get it light on the skids a few times before you try to get airborn.
Google RADD'S school of flight. Lot's of folks swear by this training method.

Hard to say. All helicopters have a tendency to drift left at lift off. You need to be sure to use a training gear, and I do recommend you go to RADD'S school of flight.
