Charge rate for Esky 8.4v 650mah Nimh

What is a good charge current for the Honeybee stock Nimh packs? I just purchased a Hyperion AC/DC EOS0606iAD-B charger and now I want to be kind to my packs.

I also purchased 4 Common Sense 7.4v 800mah Lipo packs. I'm going to get to know the charger with the Nimh packs then get familiar with balance charging the Lipos.

I'm itching to hookup my pack but concerned about what amp rate to charge at.

Can anyone give me a rough starting point?

I decided to try the rate that is listed on the charger that comes with the HBFP, 300ma. So far so good. It's been about 25 min. and nothing bad has happened yet. I'll post how long the full charge takes.

you should charge them at .8A

I'll try the .8 rate on the next charge cycle.

THE LIPO should charge at a rate 1amp per 1000mah - .8 amps for your 800 mah :chaplin: = VIC
