As I get a little better at flying I get a little bit bolder. Which seems to result in a little more spectacular crashes! The latest victim of my crashes has been flybars, going through them like popcorn.

Is there a better alternative to the stock HBFP flybar? Any suggestions?

Thanks Curt

I always liked using metal flybars for the Belt CP and other 450 sized helis, same thickness but needs to be shortened a bit

Thanks for the info! I found the flybars at KA but was unsure which paddles would work with them?

Thanks, Curt

I used my original paddles till I found these which I thought were much cooler, and they're made for the Hummingbird FP (close cousin of the HBFP)

You can also buy titanium flybar on buzzflyer: http://www.buzzflyer.co.uk/ESky-Honey-Bee-Upgrades/Honey-Bee-Titanium-Flybar/p-126-1016/
or you can buy stainless steel flybar at heli-fever: http://www.heli-fever.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_46&products_id=885
and paddles for stainless steel flybar: http://www.heli-fever.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_46&products_id=888
But that stainless steel flybar might be too long angry032

I ordered some flybars and paddles from across the atlantic. They can't get here soon enough. I'm down to flybar pieces again! HBFP is quite a bit harder to handle with the super short flybar.

Thanks for y'alls suggestions on this topic.

Curt

(I'm really looking hard at the E-flite Blade 400 package but, I think I had better wait until I'm not crashing quite so much. I hope to get outside this weekend so as not to have to deal with so much furniture, walls and ceiling fans.)

I saw the Hummingbird paddles. They do look cool but I was worried about the plastic getting scratched and ripping off. So, I decided to find a flybar paddle that was solid. It comes in Black or White. Goto: http://www.rtf-heli.com/Xtreme.html
