I have read a lot of posts on various forums about the stock 25a ESC on the Belt CP has had issues with catching on fire. I was wondering if anyone knows if E-Sky has corrected this issue in the 2009 v2 model. Is the stock ESC still problematic?

They said they fixed it, it is a whole new design so I have faith in it.

When I flew my belt cp v2 indoors the ESC was hot, but when I run heli outdoors ESC is just slightly warm I really don't think it will catch on fire

My first one fired out while I was spinning up my belt-cp. The shop gived me a new one. The second one was fired out because I did'nt handle it correctly and the third one is O.K. (more than 6 month's now)

You talk about belt cp v1 ESC right? The v2 ESC is better

That's right, I'm talking abouth the old 35 Mhz version Belt-cp. Cnc upgraded, towerpro sg 90 servo's, multiplex HH-gyro and carbonfibre main-and tailblades. (that's all I have changed on my heli)
