esky servo ( E-SMART )

Can you please tell me if the esky ek2-0509 servo is for the e-smart ?

I'm not sure. I used Hi Tech HS 422's on mine. You could compare the info on those two servos and see if they are the same size.

I just googled both servos and looking at the size/weight data, it looks like the EK2-0509 is OK for the E-Smart, but you probably should wait for someone with more experience to chime in. May want to PM Fatdaddy. He's pretty good with this type of stuff.

Oddly enough I cant find dimensions for the servo.

In the manual it states to use EK2-0501 servos 36g

I have found some specs for the (ek2-0501) and they look to be the
same as the (ek2-0509) as far as I can tell.

(1) speed ; 0.22s/60' ;
(2) torque ; 3.2kg .cm ;
(3 dimension ; 40.4x 19.8 x 36mm ;
(4) weight ; 36.0g ;
(5) certificate ; CE,FCC,RoHS ;
(6) colour ; black
(7) wire length ; 280mm ;
(8) wirecolour ; white , red , black;

I found these on the Japan site ( www.twf-jp.com ) and there are other servos and
specs on this site.

I am going to give these a try.
And I hope if the E-SMART goes up then I hope it comes down softly.
I will take abit longer to put the SMART together as work is getting abit out
of hand just now.
